Star Wars: The Last Jedi (besides known as Star Wars: Episode Viii – The Last Jedi ) is a 2017 American epic space opera film written and directed by Rian Johnson. Development

In Oct 2012, Star Wars creator George Lucas sold his product visitor Lucasfilm to The Walt Disney Company.[25] Disney announced a new trilogy of Star Wars films.[25] J. J. Writing

User-generated scores at Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic were more negative. Sequel

The Rise of Skywalker, the terminal installment of the sequel trilogy, was released on December 20, 2019.[144] [145] Colin Trevorrow was expected to direct the film, but on September 5, 2017, Lucasfilm announced that he had stepped down.[146] A week afterwards, Lucasfilm announced that J. J.
